Ironman Asia Pacific to be held in Melbourne

Finally, Ironman arrives in Melbourne. This is going to be an incredibly fast course, with the bike leg along the smooth, flat Eastlink Tollway and a relatively flat run from Frankston to StKilda.
Ironman Melbourne is designed to be the biggest and brightest ironman race in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting athletes from around the world. Significantly 75 spots have been allocated from Ironman Melbourne for the world championships in Kona - the biggest Ironman race of all, and the race where Ironman athletes became folk legends.
Registration for Ironman Melbourne will open on Sunday August 28th at 1pm - make sure you register early as places will go very quickly. Races like this have been filled within hours previously.
